Lexmark MS312dn MS315dn and MS415dn Printers

The new Lexmark MS310 and MS410 Series printers are designed for small business environments, but these models include some very nice “large business” features. The Lexmark MS312dn printer and the entire 310 and 410 Series models deliver performance, security, and usability to meet the needs of both small business and enterprise small workgroups.

Print documents with images and graphics fast with your first print in as little as 6.5 seconds and up to 40 pages per minute after that. Together, the 800 MHz dual core processor and (up to) 256 MB of memory easily handle complex documents. These printers support monthly duty cycles of up to 7,200 pages per month and have an input capacity of up to 850 sheets. Combined with the available high-yield cartridges, you reduce downtime due to less frequent consumable replacement.

From easy-to-use control panels to flexible network capabilities, these small-workgroup laser printers make printing smooth, secure and accessible. The two-line or 2.4-inch color LCD display panels of the MS315dn and MS415dn not only keep you informed about device and job status, but support confidential print (MS315dn and MS415dn) and special feature configuration.

Lexmark’s new printers come in three “flavors”. Even the lowest-priced model, the MS312dn includes duplex printing right out of the box as well as an instant warm-up fuser and a 2-line monochrome display panel. Ethernet, USB and parallel ports are all included and wireless printing and connectivity is possible via an add-on.

With up to 256 MB of memory and a 800 MHz dual-core processor, you should be able—with all three Lexmark printer models—to print complex and lengthy documents quickly—including those documents which contain lots of graphics and images. Output resolution is up to 1200×1200 dpi and separate toner-delivery and imaging units ensure consistent print quality and save paper. Print speeds range from 35 pages per minute (Lexmark MS312dn) and 37 ppm (Lexmark MS315dn) to 40 ppm (Lexmark MS415dn) plus an instant warm-up fuser prints your first page in as little as 6.5 seconds. Paper input capacity goes up to 850 sheets and the optional extra high yield toner cartridges mean that you won’t have to add paper or change cartridges nearly as often—saddling you with less downtime and making you more productive.

The Lexmark MS312DN printer (as well as the Lexmark MS315DN and MS415DN) let you control printer settings from any browser, letting you configure security settings, device defaults, consumable alerts and more. In addition, network security features and protocols are built right in to the printer to protect your device, its information, and your network, from unauthorized access. Standard connectivity includes Gigabit Ethernet (10/100 Ethernet on the MS312dn), USB 2.0, and parallel ports for individual device outputs. Optional wireless (802.11n) connectivity via the MarkNet N8352 802.11b/g/n wireless adapter means that your workforce isn’t tied to a desk—even when the locations where you need output don’t always have a network jack.

The new Lexmark 310 and 410 series printers support nearly all printing protocols, and Lexmark Mobile Print and AirPrint are supported for mobile printing. Lexmark backs up the MS310/MS410 Series with a standard one-year warranty that includes multiple contact options, like phone, email, live chat and remote assistance. Also, their “advance exchange” service quickly gets you printing again should you ever need to send the printer in for repair.
