Xerox WorkCentre 4265

Xerox WorkCentre 4265 MFP

Xerox recently introduced three new products (one printer and two MFPs), the Xerox Phaser 3260, Xerox WorkCentre 3215/3225, and the Xerox WorkCentre 4265. The Phaser 3260 and WorkCentre 3215/3225 are built for smaller offices or single user applications and have include WiFi for wireless printing as well as Apple AirPrint and WiFi Direct printing functionality for allowing iOS, Android and Windows smartphones and tablets to print directly to the printer without a third-party print server. A new scan to email feature lets you convert paper documents into electronic form and email them to recipients.

Both the Xerox Phaser 3260 and the WorkCentre 3215/3225 print at speeds up to 29 ppm (pages-per-minute) with the first page coming out in less than 9 seconds. Optical resolution is 600 dpi (dots per inch). The WorkCentre 3215/3225 goes beyond the printing-only of the Phaser 3260 by providing copy, scan and fax capabilities—yet it still maintains a small footprint for placement in a single office or other tight space. It’s the third product that really caught our eye.

Enterprise Printing with the Xerox WorkCentre 4265 MFP

The WorkCentre 4265 ups the ante of small to medium (SMB) businesses by adding copy, scan, email and fax functions that are controlled via a capacitive 7″ touch screen. This black & white multifunction printer provides letter-sized printing and can work with Xerox’s Next Generation of Managed Print Services.

WorkCentre 4265 Features

  • Compact size and configurations ranging from desktop to floor standing models.
  • Scanning speeds up to 70 impressions-per-minute (duplex).
  • Larger finishing capabilities like collation, stapling and paper input up to 3,240 sheets.
  • Fast copying and printing at 55 ppm, with the first copy out in as little as five seconds.
  • Print Around feature saves time by automatically holding a document missing resources (such as a different paper size) and prints the next job in the queue.
