Toshiba America Business Solutions and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions announced their appointment of Leon Roberge as CIO at two of the U.S.-based companies in a press release earlier today. (February 21, 2018)
According to this press release, this new role will put Roberge at the head of developing global IT strategy and information security policies and standards for the two Toshiba companies, as well as tasking him with establishing their IT architecture, managing vendors and suppliers, and developing staff.
“Leon offers tremendous experience and insight and has delivered industry-leading solutions to meet the business and customer needs of multiple Toshiba companies,” said Toshiba America Business Solutions and Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions President and CEO, Scott Maccabe. “Leon has the exceptional ability to work collaboratively with our geographically diverse teams and address the often complex and nuanced IT challenges our organizations present.”
